Provokable Entities

Avoid provoking RED44, Lockdown, TheEntity, and provokable Roblox entities in Darkest Hours pre-alpha.

Provokable Mechanics

Provokable entities remain manageable until players trigger rage states—staring at RED44, attacking Lockdown, or engaging TheEntity incorrectly transforms them into extreme threats. Some revert after timers; others persist until trial end. Never provoke "for content" during serious extraction runs.

Entity Notes

RED44 — sight provocation; deadliest misfire for new players.
Lockdown — provoked summons mines and minions.
TheEntity — sight and teleport combination when provoked.
Defect — related temporary rage during HIDE sequences (see tier list S-tier).

Overlap with sight detection is high—train camera discipline.

Recovery After Provoke

If accidental provoke occurs, break sight, use stun items once, and burn mobility coils toward objective completion to shorten trial timer. Communicate "RED44 provoked" immediately.
